# Abilitie API Docs

abilitie.com is primarily a marketing site backed by Storyblok. There is no public REST API for booking, account management, or transactions. The endpoints below exist to make the site's content accessible to crawlers and AI agents.

## Markdown content negotiation

Send any HTML page request with `Accept: text/markdown` and you will receive a markdown rendering of the same page. Site middleware transparently rewrites the request to `/api/markdown`, which fetches the rendered HTML, strips chrome, and converts the main content with Turndown.

The response includes:

- `Content-Type: text/markdown; charset=utf-8`
- `x-markdown-tokens`: rough token estimate for the body
- `Vary: Accept`

You may also call `/api/markdown?path=/some/page` directly.

## Sitemap

`/sitemap.xml` lists every published page on the site. It is also referenced from `/robots.txt`.

## Robots and AI usage

`/robots.txt` includes explicit `User-agent` blocks for the major AI crawlers and `Content-Signal` directives declaring `search=yes, ai-train=yes, ai-input=yes`. Abilitie content may be indexed for search, used for AI training, and used as input to AI inference.
