Abilitie Ranks Among America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies for Second Time

This week, Inc. announced Abilitie ranked on its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in America. We also received the award in 2020.

The list is a one-of-a-kind look at the most successful companies within the economy’s most dynamic segment — independent businesses. Facebook, Chobani, Under Armour, Microsoft, Patagonia, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.

“I could not be more excited about where we are headed as a company,” Abilitie CEO Bjorn Billhardt said. “We have set incredibly ambitious goals in order to meet the needs of our clients and ambitious individuals around the globe. My priority will always be providing exceptional leadership development training, from small businesses and individuals to Fortune 100 organizations, and we have assembled an exceptional team to make that happen.”

Companies on the 2022 Inc. 5000 list have not only been successful, they have demonstrated resilience amid supply chain woes, labor shortages, and the ongoing impact of Covid-19.

“The accomplishment of building one of the fastest-growing companies in the U.S., in light of recent economic roadblocks, cannot be overstated,” Scott Omelianuk, editor-in-chief of Inc., said. “Inc. is thrilled to honor the companies that have established themselves through innovation, hard work, and rising to the challenges of today.”

In the last three years, Abilitie has more than doubled its revenue and staff to support unprecedented growth among its community of clients. With a revenue of over seven million, the leadership development company anticipates similarly dynamic growth ahead of 2025.

Some of Abilitie’s most notable accomplishments include launching a virtual business program for working professionals who do not want to put their lives on hold (the Invited MBA), expanding its presence in Europe, ranking in the 2022 Training Industry Leadership Training Watch List, and earning over 15 Brandon Hall learning awards.

Abilitie COO Megan Fanale said, “Our vision as a company is to help create a better-educated world with more equitable access to opportunity. Our continued growth allows us to further that mission, and the potential possibilities it opens for the future has all of us energized about where we go from here.”

Complete results of the Inc. 5000, including company profiles and an interactive database that can be sorted by industry, region, and other criteria, can be found at www.inc.com/inc5000. The top 500 companies are featured in the September issue of Inc. magazine, which will be available on August 23.

“Abilitie doesn’t have a ‘one-size fits all’ offering. Their ability (pun intended) to adapt to our needs in such a short amount of time highlights the flexible nature of their product design and construct. As a client, that’s a highly valuable attribute of their offering.”
