Nearly three years into a major shift to a virtual delivery model for learning programs, we’ve embraced virtual environments like Zoom and Teams. But both L&D leaders and learners have recognized the limitations of those platforms, particularly around creating a learning environment that not only feels like an in-person classroom, but also offers the flexibility and networking options of one. Enter the metaverse.
Our panel of learning and development experts will discuss how metaversal platforms are uniquely suited to transform virtual deliveries of learning programs. Join:
- Karl Kapp, Professor of Instructional Technology and Director of the Institute for Interactive Technologies at Bloomsburg University
- Luke Owings, VP of Product at Abilitie
as they explore the unique advantage the metaverse offers for learning, how it is better suited to keep participants engaged through more meaningful conversation and interaction, and how it leverages the most beneficial parts of in-person learning.
Participants will learn:
- What the metaverse actually is (and what it isn’t)
- Why the metaverse is more effective than video conferencing platforms for cohort-based learning
- Best practices for incorporating the metaverse into your L&D programs
This event is presented through a partnership between Chief Learning Officer and Abilitie.
