An MBA Experience for Tomorrow’s Leaders

The 12-Week MBA experience is a global leadership development program created by a collaboration between three world-class organizations: Abilitie, TED, and St. Edward’s University. First delivered in 2019 as the Invited MBA to a small group of learners in Austin, Texas, the program has since evolved into a global, cohort-based mini-MBA with a thriving alumni community spanning five continents.

A Global Leader in Simulation-Based Learning

Abilitie is a leadership development company with offices in Austin, London, Dubai, and Singapore. Serving Fortune 500 clients such as Disney, Marriott, Dell, and Emirates, Abilitie’s simulation-based leadership programs have helped over 100,000 professionals develop their business acumen and management skills. Abilitie’s founder, Bjorn Billhardt, bootstrapped two companies (his first one from a dorm room at Harvard Business School) and is a recognized authority in the art of creating immersive leadership development programs.

Home to the World’s Most Powerful Ideas

TED is a non-profit built around a simple belief: Ideas change everything. Powerful ideas, powerfully presented, can move us to feel something, think differently, and take action. Abilitie and TED@Work have partnered in curating TED’s global library to bring world-class ideas from diverse, global voices into the 12-Week MBA in a practical, career-relevant way. Throughout the program, participants engage with select TED Talks, complementary tools, and rich discussion that reinforce key leadership themes and help strengthen skills that matter at work, including decision-making, influence, and leading change.

A Recognized Leader in Business Education

St. Edward’s University’s Bill Munday School of Business is a top-ranked graduate school with AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation. Fewer than 6% of business schools worldwide hold AACSB accreditation. Each 12-Week MBA participant receives a graduate-level Professional Education Certificate from St. Edward’s. For those who want to continue their education, eligible graduates can apply this certificate toward an accelerated pathway into St. Edward’s University’s MBA, with flexible hybrid or online options and complete the full MBA in less than 12 months.
